Gari is a writer and citizen journalist as well as the editor of The Cultural Thing. Gari has been involved in arts production since being a teenager. He organised his first theatre tour at the age of 18!He has written three books and a few stages plays – one was so controversional that threats were made to the theatre management to burn the place down if the production went ahead.
He has written a number of articles for online and real-life magazine mainly on political and social issues, most recently on Syria where he has been reporting on the Middle-East troubles. Gari was one of the judges for the 2012 ‘Exposed’, the major unsigned band competition held in Brisbane, Australia. More info is available from his website. |
